Knights, Samurai, Leather, Metal and Fantasy Helms
The helm was a vital part of a medieval warrior's equipment, which protected the head from arrows and the deadly blow of the sword. Initially constructed of leather, the helmet eventually was made entirely from iron. The helmet came in a variety of different forms such as the Bascinet, Sugar Loaf, Morion Comb, Kabuto, Great Helm and many more.
