Reliks Gift Certificates can be redeemed online, in store or over the phone using the git code found on your email certificate or printed certificate. Once redeemed if there is a remaining credit balance it will be stored on your reliks.com account or a temporary account for later use. Gift certificates or account credit does not expire and can be used on any purchase until the balance is depleted. Multiple gift certificates or account credits can be used on the same purchase and in conjunction with any other promotions or offers. If you are having trouble using your gift certificate to pay for an order online, please ensure that you are entering the claim code exactly as it appears on your gift certificate, and that the code has not been used in a previous order. If the code is correct, please contact us immediately.
As a retailer we try our best to keep as many products as possible in stock. Unfortunately we occasionally have some items that may be out-of-stock. This may result in a delay in your order. If a product you have ordered is out-of-stock, we will e-mail you and let you know when you can expect this item to arrive. An order with an out-of-stock item can be held until complete before shipping if desired.
The "Stock" tags found on the products on our website are 99% accurate and up to date. The website receives updates from all of our inventory systems in real-time to ensure the best accuracy. This being said, all orders are finalized by a human representative so updates occur after an order has been processed. If the remaining quantities of a particular item has been ordered by someone before a representative has had a chance to process the order an “In Stock” message will remain on the website for that product until it has completed processing.
We offer clothing from several manufacturers so we have combined them to this chart which is a general guideline of the different clothing sizes found on our website. If sizing listed in the product description is different than on the chart, the measurements on the product listing are the measurements that should be used. #sizechart

Reliks Inc. does not require deposits or pre-payments for Pre-Orders. Once the pre-order is placed it is understood that Reliks Inc. is committed to acquiring that item for you, and that you in good faith are committed to following through with your purchase. Although Reliks Inc. requires a credit card or payment method on file; we do not bill your selected payment method until your pre-order is ready to ship. All release dates are subject to change by the manufacturer. The shipping dates listed are based on information that Reliks Inc. has received from the manufacturer. Any revised release dates or further information will be updated immediately on our website.
If you have included additional products to your pre-order that are out of stock at the time the pre-order arrives, your order will be split and the pre-order item will ship immediately under the condition that the pre-ordered items(s) are a limited edition product. Appropriate shipping charges will be applied to the split order. Non-limited edition pre-order items will be shipped together with the additional products once your entire order is complete.
Reliks can process orders in either Canadian or American funds regardless of where you reside. All other currencies shown are offered as a courtesy based off the exchange rate with CAD. With the exception of USD all orders will be billed the total amount due in CAD which will also be shown on your invoice. USD is billed in USD. Your financial institution may also add a small exchange fee to process in Canadian funds. The exchange rates are updated every 24 hours excluding weekends and holidays using the posted exchange rates by the Bank of Canada.
Shipping
Having an item shipped? We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Please note that there are restrictions on shipping to some destinations. You will be contacted if there are any problems processing your order.
All orders processed are shipped through Canada Post unless specified otherwise. Calculations are based on items size and weight dimensions. Combined rates will apply on orders with multiple items. Shipping rates quoted online are for orders to be shipped within North America only. International orders will be personally e-mailed with an appropriate quote based on the destination country. All International orders will not be shipped until we receive an e-mail back confirming the shipping times and rates quoted are acceptable. Please note that quotes can not be shown until you have entered all your information in the checkout system.
Canada/USA
Shipping times depend on the destination and can range from 5 to 10 business days in Canada and 7 to 14 in the Continental U.S. Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, the Yukon, Nunavut and Northwest Territories as well as remote areas can take 4 to 6 weeks.
International
Shipping times for overseas orders are based on the destination country. Unfortunately, because of the large variance in countries we do not have an automated system to calculate International shipping times. We will however, be more than happy to review your order and send you an e-mail with shipping rates and expected delivery times for the desired destination. You can help us speed up the shipping process by ensuring your e-mail and check out information is entered correctly. All International orders will not be shipped until we receive an e-mail back confirming the shipping times and rates quoted are acceptable.

Orders shipped where the customer has provided an e-mail address will be supplied with a tracking number from Canada Posts online service. You should receive this confirmation within 24-48 hours after the item has been shipped. If you have not received this confirmation, your Internet Service Provider (ISP) or e-mail client may be blocking e-mail from Canada Post. If you suspect that this is happening, please consult the help section of your e-mail program to see how to correct the settings that filter or block mail, or check your deleted basket.
Occasionally packages are returned to us as undeliverable. When the courier returns an undeliverable package to us, we will contact you at the information provided.
Incorrect Address
If the address is incorrect or outdated, the courier typically returns the package to us. Please double-check your address carefully when placing a new order, as you can be held responsible for re-shipping charges if entered incorrectly.
Failed Delivery Attempt
All orders will be delivered to address information provided. If there is no one present then an “attempted delivery” card should be left by the courier service. The card describes what appropriate action should be taken. If you feel that you have not received a delivery attempt notice then you can contact your local postal depot to verify that they are holding a package for you.
Refused By Recipient
If a gift recipient is not expecting a gift, they may refuse the package if they believe it was sent to them in error. If you still want to send these items, you may want to let the recipient know that a surprise is on the way.
Your order may be subject to customs and duties (taxes) which are payable by the recipient upon receipt of the order. We as the shipper have no control over these charges and are not able to estimate what they would be as they vary from country to country. Please contact your local customs department for information on charges and restricted items. It is the responsibility of the purchaser/importer to ensure that imported items adhere to local laws.
If you feel that your order has been damaged somehow in shipping, please contact us immediately after receiving your package. Please keep all packing materials, as the courier service may want to see the damaged package.
Reliks will not ship parcels to a freight forwarding company. Unfortunately any orders to a freight forwarder will be canceled. We ship international parcels daily and are happy to prepare a shipping quote to your physical address upon your request.
Returns and Replacements
Your complete shopping satisfaction is our number one priority. If an item you ordered does not meet your expectations, simply return it either to our store personally or by courier within 7 days of receiving it. Some conditions apply.
If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your product, you may return it within 7 business days to Reliks Inc. and obtain a credit of the original purchase price of the product, excluding shipping and handling charges. A Return Merchandise Authorization must accompany all returns. To obtain your Return Merchandise Authorization, please contact our sales department at 1-888-473-5457 or by e-mail at sales@reliks.com. You must return the product at your expense in undamaged condition in the original box with all materials and package inserts. Your return authorization number and a copy of the original packing slip must accompany the return, with an explanation as to why the product is being returned. Returns should be shipped with a traceable courier service, as we will not be held responsible for lost packages. If you are returning a product from outside of Canada, please ensure that you have clearly stated in all shipping documentation that the product is a return and has no customs or duty values. Any addition charges incurred by Reliks Inc. upon receipt of merchandise will be removed from the credited amount. Upon receipt of the returned product to Reliks Inc., a credit will be made to your customer account for the original purchase price, less the shipping and handling charges. If your original payment was made by money order or credit card, Reliks Inc. will issue a credit to your customer account. Please allow one business day for credits to be issued.
Please note that custom/special orders can be charged a 20% restocking fee.
Damaged in Shipping
If you feel that your order has been damaged somehow in shipping, please contact us immediately after receiving your package. Please keep all packing materials, as the courier service may want to see the damaged package.
Defective Merchandise
Reliks Inc. inspects all items before shipping to ensure the highest possible quality. If you feel that you have received a defective product, please contact us immediately to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization. We will then make arrangements for return shipping and provide you with a credit (under refund guidelines) or product exchange. Defective merchandise will be exchanged for the same item when the defective merchandise is returned. An explanation of the nature of the defect must be included with the returned merchandise along with your Return Merchandise Authorization.

Only Reliks Inc. uses the information on this site. We value our customers too much to damage our relationships with them. Information is gathered at several points on our web site from our customers but customers do not have to worry about information being sold, shared or rented to others. Users of Reliks Inc. affiliated sites will not get onto any Internet mailing lists unless specified because they shopped online.
We require some basic information to process your order. Billing and shipping information is requested along with payment information. Credit card numbers and expiration dates may be required for billing purposes, but are not saved on our Web site. Contact information, such as e-mail address and phone number, is used only for courier services, to confirm your order or for contact purposes should we have trouble processing an order. We neither solicit by telephone nor release this information to other companies.
A cookie is a small data file stored on your computer's hard drive that contains information relating to your visit to our site such as shopping list contents. When you leave and then return to our site, this information can be recalled by our website to improve the shopping experience as well as to keep you logged into your account. Sword Care & Maintenance
Although stainless steel is thought by many to be invulnerable to corrosion, this is not true. With stainless steel, one must be cautious because the evidence of corrosion does not show itself as quickly as it does on carbon spring steel. If the blade is touched with a finger and not wiped off properly with a soft rag the fingerprint will be permanently etched into the steel forever! In time, the print will become more and more visible and detract from the appearance of your sword or dagger. To prevent this from happening, Keep Fingers Off the Blade! If possible keep the blade away from any bare skin, as skin is very acidic. It is the acid in your skin that will eat away at the metal and the only way to stop it is by giving the blade a thorough cleaning. To ensure a thorough cleaning we recommend using "Metal Glo" polish, a product we use ourselves at the store.
All metal parts of your sword, including the wire wrapped handles should always be covered with a light coating of oil to prevent rust. You may also want to wipe it with a silicone coated gun/reel cloth. Many people prefer the gun/reel cloth because there are fewer tendencies for dust to accumulate and trap oxygen to cause pitted areas in the blade. Wooden handles should be treated with a light coating of lemon oil or tung oil to help prevent cracking. Leather scabbards, sheaths and covered handles should be treated with a good leather paste wax. The scabbard can also be treated with neatsfoot or mink oil for waterproofing, although this is not recommended for gripping surfaces. Do not store your sword in its scabbard for long periods of time since the leather traps moisture, which can produce rust spots on the blade.
Never swing any edged weapon carelessly. Always remember a sword is a real weapon and must be treated with the same respect you would give a loaded firearm. If you want to experience the adrenaline rush of a warrior and wield your weapon, make sure you are well out of reach of anyone. Some weapons are very heavy and they could slip out of your hands. Be careful not to endanger yourself or others around you when you manipulate your weapons.
Never bang your sword against another sword in a theatrical-style duel. Never bang your sword against hard objects to test its strength or the "sound" of the steel as it hits a hard object. It doesnt matter how tough or strong the steel is in any sword, they will nick when struck against something just as hard. In stage plays or in movies, theatrical swords with wide, thick edges are used. The edges of these swords are flat and can be as much as 1/16" wide. Theatrical swords are designed to take the "Hollywood" looking punishment of banging edges together.
Never attempt to chop down a tree with your sword. This is guaranteed to damage your sword. Leave this to axes and machetes, which were designed for this with the weight of the steel concentrated over the point of impact. When you strike an object like a tree or a thick branch with a sword the blade is exposed to a high amount of torque and could warp, bend or possibly break. The Japanese who believed in a lot of practice with their sword used thick bamboo. Bamboo is resistant to a cut but doesnt have the rigidity of a tree and wont damage a valuable blade.
