All For One and One For all

In honour of Alexandre Dumas and the timeless characters from his beloved novel, this piece has an etched french style cross, often associated with the Musketeers, on its hilt. The musket, though the prime weapon of the French Musketeer, was a cumbersome firearm, both to load and fire, so a good rapier was a necessary second weapon.

Literature or Historical Fencing

Hand Forged from well tempered high carbon steel this blade will properly flex under the stress of a thrust, a slash or clash of another blade. This is a real rapier that may interest not only fans of literature but those who participate in historical fencing. The blade is unsharpened but can be sharpened as an option. The basket on this rapier's hilt is ambidextrous and a very effective mix of both the cup-hilt and swept-hilt style. The grip is wood wrapped with twisted wire and the parts of the hilt are plated with gleaming nickel silver. This rapier does come with a dark blue leather scabbard.

"Beautiful piece. Well balanced even for my injured wrist. Love it. My first but definitely not the last."

"Easily the most prized sword in my collection thus far, it is a beautiful piece, with excellent polish and good blade geometry. Although relatively heavy for a rapier, coming in at 3lbs, it handles exceptionally well, and the point control is splendid. While not made for cutting, it is capable of it, on soft targets, but this sword, like all rapiers, shines in the thrust. As a fan of the books/movies, this was one product i could not pass on, and now that i own it, i cannot recommend it enough."
