The classic image of the knight with his sword will forever be remembered through artwork, poetry and the tales of heroism. That knight was not only expected to possess the skill and strength for combat but the virtues of mercy, generosity and courage. These codes of chivalry were born from medieval martial traditions that were often involved with training through knighthood. The sword was also a very powerful symbol of the knight as it represented his status given during the initiation ceremony and often symbolized religious beliefs with it's cruciform guard. But despite the romantic symbolism, the sword was a superb fighting weapon in the hands of a skilled knight.
The Sword Of Courage has been hand forged from tempered 5160 spring steel with a wide single fuller for strength. The fuller also makes this sword lighter for the knight and allowed it to be effective with one hand during combat if horse mounted. The cruciform hilt is completed with hand wrapped brown vegetable tanned leather and a disc pommel. The scabbard is also finished with vegetable tanned brown leather over a hardwood core and protective metal chape. The integral belt is partnered with a steel buckle to allow you to wear your Sword of Courage proudly.

"Its a very well crafted sword and feels wonderful in the hand, only issue I have with it is how easy it dents and chips so this is very much a sword meant for cutting practice only" - Justin (4/5)
"Excellent craftsmanship. Well balanced and a pleasure to hold." - Symon (5/5)
"Sword is well constructed and rings like a bell. Blade is straight and the hilt construction is good but the fit and finish are lack luster in regards to the leather stitching. The blended pommel peen looks like it would be a burden to re peen in the future if the hilt ever became loose & the cross guard has noticeable gap between it and the blade. Blade profile is good, is light and nimble in the hand, central fuller is well ground and even on both sides. Blade is springy and flexible in the right regions, stiff and ridge near the hilt as it should be. Overall I'd love to see this sword reviewed by *** or *** to see there impressions of it as I think this sword is very appealing for the price point. " - Mathieu (4/5)
