The Hobbit Samwise Gamgee affectionately known as Sam, was Frodo Baggins gardener and best friend. Sam proved himself countless times to be Frodo's most dependable companion and most loyal of the Fellowship of the Ring. Samwise played a critical role in protecting Frodo and destroying the One Ring. United Cutlery, has meticulously recreated the actual filming prop. The blade was created from stainless steel instead of carbon steel as used on the original prop, in order to guarantee the replica will last a lifetime with little maintenance.
