Crows Beak

Popular in medieval Europe, a bec de corbin (French for crow’s beak) was simply another name for a poleaxe. This shortened version consists of a modified hammer’s head and spike mounted atop a wooden pole. The hammer face balanced the beak and was often blunt instead of the multi-pronged Lucerne design, and the beak tended to be stout, a much better design for tearing armor and used for dismounting riders. All hand forged by the master armorers of Windlass Steelcrafts. This impressive piece measures a full 56" in overall length. Detailed pierce-work, a strong hand guard and period details make this piece as beautiful as it is deadly.
