Train Safely

The Spear Head trainer has been carefully fashioned to look as realistic as possible so they can be effectively used in solo practice, training drills, disarm drills, and demonstrations and any other activity where you want a reasonably close approximation of realism but not the extreme danger and risk associated with an actual sharpened spear. 1" tapered opening.

"This is a pretty good training spear head for the price. Maybe it's a bit soft, but that's better than breaking because it's too rigid. A great deal at this price but it is best for a one-inch diameter staff. Any wider and you'll have to make adjustments."

"If you're into martial arts, HEMA in particular, you'll enjoy these. They're a great price for a safe to use spear head trainer. They have a lot of flex so if you do make contact, no one will have more than a tiny bruise, if any bruise at all. They're also easy to mount onto a one inch pole by hand if you really want. Overall, a fantastic bit of training kit allowing you to go from staff to spear and back with ease."

"I haven't had a chance to use it yet for HEMA ( Historical European Martial Arts ) as I have to wait for Spring to be able to practice at a local park. It seems safe enough to use if one keeps in mind that one has to pull one's thrusts when practicing to not injure a training partner and use a fencing mask if any thrusts are aimed at the face. The spear head has a good amount of flexibility but isn't too floppy, the ball at the point helps with safety issues. As a general comment one must train with control both physical and emotional and proportional to the level of protective gear. Oh the spear point fit well at the end of a tapered " Bo " staff used for the spear shaft and it's easy to put onto the staff and remove."
