The Practical Tanto gives the martial artist the opportunity to own and use a Hanwei tanto at the cost of an economy tanto. The blade is forged and differentially tempered, using the same process as the more expensive blades and producing an HRC60 edge and HRC40 back.
This practical tanto comes pre-sharpened for the martial artist and tameshigiri cutting.
The Japanese tanto was the knife used to perform Seppuku, also known as harakiri.
