Modern Adaption from Ancient Origins

This piece from the Cobra Steel sword line is a modern interpretation of the ancient Greek Kopis. Like the original sword, the Cobra Steel draws from it's origins taking full advantage of the long re-curve. This feature extends the cutting edge of the blade without extending the length. The unique shape works perfectly for more natural cuts and tremendous chopping power. The clip point aligns the tip perfectly with the wrist for devastating thrust, which makes this a good fighting pattern as well!

State of the Art Tempering

The hand-forged, X46Cr13 high grade stainless steel blade has been fully tempered in state-of-the-art computer controlled ovens, making it super tough and weather resistant when battling the great outdoors. Hardened to a Rockwell of 48°, it will “flex” in a cut and come back for more! The edge comes factory sharpened and fixed with a weather resistant rubber handle for comfort, positive grip and shock absorption on a full profile tang. The kopis comes complete with a custom fit riveted leather scabbard.

"The blade is solid , however the handle isn't even on both sides the blade bends in n out like a slight wave and the sheath has lost three rivets just from opening up the blade, and the security strap broke the first day hiking, your company is great but this kopis sucks"

Response: sorry this piece isn't working out for you

"For the price it is a good product. I would prefer if it was sharper and the handle feels a little bulky in the hand. However I can reset the edge bevel and make new handle scales and it will be better. So for the price it is a good blade."

"The sheath is kind of dinky but the blade is pretty good, considering the cost; I've been using it to clear phragmites and it's good for that. "
