The Assam Rifles Gurkha Kukri is hand forged from high carbon steel. Each comes with regulation sheath. Issued to the Gurkhas Assam Rifles Regiment. This Gurkha kukri has a 13 1/2" long blade that is double fullered. Also features the traditional religious notch that is symbolic of the trident (3 pronged spear) of Shiva. At a little over 1/4" thick, this is a very powerful chopping blade. The polished, native hardwood handle is reinforced by a brass bolster and a brass pommel with a raised lion's head decoration. Made by the government contractor Windlass Steelcrafts. Color may vary on wooden handle.

"It's a nice peice! It's hefty in the hand and the grip feels great. I haven't had it out in the woods with me yet, but if it performs how it looks and feels, I can't see it not performing well. " - Gerry (5/5)
"sheath for the 2 tiny blades were uneven and the peen on the end was so bad you couldn't make out the lion on the pommel otherwise decent blade" - Beau (3/5)

"Its a good kukri for the price. The scabbard is alittle loose but its a minor problem." - Josh (4/5)
"Nice sturdy blade. Good fit, decent finish. The two small utilty knives were absolutely drenched in wet red wood stain. Got it all over my hands. Inconvenient but not the worst thing, would've been good to be warned of this. " - Nicolas (4/5)
Reliks Response - They are packed in a protective grease to protect them from oxidization while in storage. A soft cloth should remove it quite easily.
