Rooted in WWII History

During World War II, KA-BAR’s reputation was forged in combat when the U.S. Government called on American companies to supply dependable knives for the troops. KA-BAR rose to the challenge, and its Fighting/Utility Knife became so iconic that it is now simply known as “the KA-BAR.” The Big Brother builds on that wartime legacy, offering the same reliability in a larger, more aggressive platform.

The Big Brother features an epoxy powder-coated high-carbon steel blade with a serrated top edge for added utility. Its stacked leather handle provides a classic, secure grip that has stood the test of time. At 14 3/8” overall with a 9 3/8” blade, the Big Brother is designed for chopping, cutting, and survival tasks that push smaller knives to their limits. Each knife comes with a leather sheath for traditional carry and protection.
