The Ka-Bar Johnson Adventure Baconmaker Knife has a unique recurve blade shape giving it the type of cutting power similar to a kukri machete. The Baconmaker is constructed as a full tang 1095 carbon steel knife measuring a full 12 3/4" long with brown GFN-PA66 textured handles with lanyard hole. The 7 1/8" blade is flat ground sharpened providing a strong cutting edge and powder coated for corrosion resistance. The blade also features a solid finger guard and ridged thumb ramp. The Baconmaker comes standard with an additional knife called the Piggyback. The Piggyback is a skeletonized 6" overall knife constructed of high carbon stainless steel. The Baconmaker polyester sheath includes a uniquely-designed stuff sack for necessities like matches, fishing tackle, a compass or other survival items. With the included 8 feet of Adventure cord, this knife can even be lashed to a stick and used as a spear if the situation demands.
