"The Battlecry Centurion Gladius is the best Gladius I have found on the market. Not only is the sword beautiful but the dimensions are almost perfect, the blade is high quality Mainz pattern and can be made razor sharp. The point is brutal and the pommel allows great control. The scabbard is no frills functional. I loved the sword so much I got a second one! "

"This Centurion Gladius from the Windlass Battlecry line is the best I've seen. It's not a perfect Mainz pattern blade but is very close to it and the blade is both beautiful and highly well made. The dark wooden handle is great and the heavy pommel provides a good balance to the sword. This sword is perfect for what it was designed for, quick and powerful thrusts. The sheath is practical and tough. Overall I am extremely happy with this Gladius and am very proud to own it. "

"Superb design and quality - one minor criticism is the scabbard and belt loops are only designed to be worn on the left hip. As it's going on a display stand it's not really a problem. "

"Love the Gladius, it's better looking in detail in my hands then from the pictures. Just wish that it was labeled that the blade it's self was greased because I got it all over me! Going to have to buy now the training Gladius to learn how to use it with cutting my arm off. "
