This Pot Helmet, built to comply with SCA regulations, is both aesthetically appealing and highly functional. Crafted in 14 gauge steel with its great cross overlaid in brass, the helm has a movable visor, excellent ventilation and full padding with with chin strap.

"Pros: The visor is a great feature, and the ventilation is superb. The helmet is well padded. The helmet extends down the neck providing good neck protection. Comfortable to wear with good weight distribution. My helmet was delivered well made with no defects at all. Cons: The helmet might slip down a bit making it hard to see due to the space in the top of the helmet. A simple solution is a cheep arming cap or some cloth or an toque being placed in the top to make sure it stays snugly in place. The latch locks well, but is hard to open and can hurt your fingers if you are not careful about it. This is a great helmet to wear if you want optimal head protection, visibility, and ventilation. You can find cheaper helmets for display if that's what you want. If you want this helmet because you plan on taking some strong whacks to the head from steel objects, then this helmet will do its job admirably. I put this helmet on my head and took a full force smash to the direct middle of the eyes from a 14 gauge buckler shield and I hardly felt anything, and the brass cross is barely marked at all, no dents (maybe I got lucky?)"
