The imagery on the katana’s tsuba and menuki captures this theme, echoing the endurance of life in snow-covered landscapes. The blackened fittings contrast against the genuine white rayskin handle, reminding the wielder of both the hardships and the beauty found in nature’s cycle. Craftsmanship and Features

Hand-forged from resilient 5160 high-carbon steel, the blade is designed with durability and cutting performance in mind. A prominent 1 ½" kissaki ensures balance and control, while the blade geometry allows for demanding cutting practice on soft and semi-hard targets without fear of chipping or deformation. The tsuka is wrapped in black cotton ito over white same, anchored by a blackened fuchi and kashira, with the saya finished in a textured black lacquer that completes the wintry aesthetic.
