History in the Fittings

Every detail of the WarFire Katana tells a story of conflict. The blackened tsuba depicts a mounted samurai riding into battle, while its reverse shows Kumamoto Castle engulfed in smoke and flame. The fuchi is engraved with burning battlements, and the kashira portrays a lone warrior standing amidst the inferno. Silver menuki of riderless warhorses line the tsuka, a somber reminder of the costs of war. Together, these elements form a vivid tribute to the battlefield.

Details of the WarFire Katana

This katana features a hand-forged 28 ¼” curved blade, its distinctive hamon flowing from kissaki to habaki. The 11” tsuka is wrapped in black cotton over real white same ray skin, blending comfort with traditional style. The black textured saya is fitted with buffalo horn at the koiguchi, kurikata, and kojiri, and bound with a black sageo for a unified look. At 40 ¾” overall, the WarFire Katana is as imposing as it is symbolic—a blade forged to embody the fury and devastation of war.
