The 27 ½” hand forged blade displays a smooth hamon, flowing gracefully from kissaki to habaki. Its fittings feature falling cherry blossoms: the blackened tsuba, fuchi, and kashira provide contrast to the white same ray skin beneath the black tsuka-ito. Silver accents on the menuki, habaki, and seppa add subtle brilliance. The sword is housed in a matte black saya with a buffalo horn kurikata and finished with a black sageo.
