Available now for the first time, the fully licensed Spartan sword from Frank Miller’s 300 just as he drew it and envisioned it to be. Direct from the amazing graphic novel and with direct consultation with Frank Miller, we bring you a battle ready version as only Windlass Studios can. 1095 high carbon steel, hand-forged and well tempered 24” blade with “blood groove” (fuller) as Frank originally designed it. This Spartan Sword has a full tang, with traditional peened over construction and solid steel parts. Wood grip with genuine leather wrap. Includes “battle worn” full grain leather scabbard and baldric. Features full color certificate of authenticity. Weight approx. 3 lbs. 30” overall.

"I have purchased both the Windlass Spartan sword and the movie prop replica swords, and they both have their pros and cons. The Windlass Spartan has great detailing on the blade and a little better sheath, in my opinion, but the handle lacks the aesthetic qualities of the movie prop replica. The Windlass Spartan has a sewn leather grip where as the movie prop replica is wrapped and the guard and pommel have a more antiqued look. Overall I think that the Windlass Spartan has a better look, fit and feel, and because it is the same price as the prop replica, a better value. "
