Oakshott Type X

The Classic Medieval Sword is a faithful reproduction of the iconic knightly blades of the High Middle Ages. Classified as an Oakeshott Type X with a Type I pommel and Type VII crossguard, this sword represents one of the most enduring designs of medieval Europe. Its broad cutting blade and distinctive profile make it an excellent example of the weapons carried by knights and men-at-arms during the 13th and 14th centuries.

Designed for Speed and Power

The wide, fullered blade is designed to lighten the weapon without sacrificing strength, allowing for quick, shearing cuts capable of defeating the mail and padded armor of the period. The extended guard offers protection against shields and opposing blades, while the classic wheel pommel ensures excellent balance and control.
