These daggers were used primarily in the left hand with a rapier to parry an opponents blows. The stepped decorative finials of the down turned guard could also be used to engage an opponents blade, even if only briefly to provide the opportunity for a counter thrust. Features a multi-wrapped metal chain grip and exquisite detail. Comes with matching scabbard covered in soft black leather and decorative throat and foot.

"Very light. A good, easily maneuverable off hand parrying dagger. Some gap in the wire wrap at the ends on the handle, but overall good." - Leo (4/5)
"I bought this dagger as a complement to the Windlass Steelcrafts 17th century Italian rapier. The dagger details looks like it's the rapier's younger brother. The match is perfect. Strong points: weight and balance, stiffness and beauty. Weak points: Handle wrappings finish is not as perfect as on the rapier and careless use could eventually affect the wrappings integrity. Overall i am in love with that dagger." - Patrick (5/5)
