This is our largest copper Natrix. If you like the solid, satisfying feel of a larger knife, get your XL hands on this XL copper Natrix. The 3.5-inch blade is made of D2 steel, a high-carbon tool steel that’s wear resistant, tough, and offers excellent edge retention. The denser-that-steel copper handle gives this large knife some real heft; it weighs in at over 8 ounces. In time, the copper will take on a patina, making each copper Natrix unique. Kershaw’s KVT ball-bearing system makes it easy to open the knife one-handed. A decorative pivot and backspacer add embellishment.

"Really air popping sharp out of the box, not as important for me because I know how to sharpen knives. The knife is heavy for it's size, but I like it that way, it might be a deal killer if someone wants a lighter folder, but the copper handle make the knife feel very robust and built like a bank-vault. The Natrix isn't an assisted knife but I had to check because with the flipper it opened almost as if it was an assisted folder. The aesthetics, handle comfort in the hand are all excellent. I love this folder."
