The Citadel Wolf Katana channels the strength, independence, and elegance of its namesake predator. Entirely hand forged by Citadel’s master smiths in their Phnom Penh workshop, each sword is crafted one at a time—from forging to final polish—making every piece truly unique. Limited to only 100 swords worldwide, each Wolf Katana is individually signed and numbered on the nakago (tang) and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. As with all Citadel swords, this katana is not just a weapon—it’s a work of art that reflects a lifetime of mastery and precision.

A Blade of Grace and Ferocity

The Wolf Katana departs from the traditional all-black motif to embrace a wilder, more primal aesthetic. The black-etched wolf tsuba captures motion and power in Citadel’s signature handmade style, while the lightly textured fuchi and kashira offer a tactile sense of refinement. The 26 ¾-inch DNH7 high carbon steel blade is hand forged and differentially hardened for resilience and sharpness, featuring a bo-hi (fuller) to reduce weight and enhance balance along its 5.5 mm-thick spine. The result is a light, fast, and perfectly balanced sword that cuts as smoothly as it moves.

Exceptional Craftsmanship and Detail

The 11-inch tsuka (handle) is carved individually for each blade, ensuring a precise friction fit and full same-gawa (ray skin) wrap beneath suede tsuka-ito for superior comfort and grip. The saya (scabbard) features a rich dark brown lacquer with a subtle gray mist finish and is fitted with buffalo horn kurikata and kojiri. Every saya is hand-carved to its matching blade for a perfect, secure fit.
