The TDI Knife was designed to be used as a "last option" knife. In extreme close quarters encounters where a suspect is attempting to take an officer's handgun, or the officer cannot access his/her handgun, the TDI Knife is available. The black powder-coated AUS 8A stainless steel blade is partially serrated and measures 3-1/2". Overall length is 7" and the knife weighs 0.15 lb. Due to its ergonomic design and the lightly textured Zytel handle, the knife fits well in the hand while providing a sure grip. Sold with an adjustable nylon/Cordura rig, designed to work much like a gun holster, the rig can be mounted on either ankle. In addition, an adjustable attachment plate allows the wearer to cant the knife 15 degrees to the front or back for more comfort.
