Details of the Kinryu Katana

The Kinryu Katana features a 27 ¾” blade forged from a combination of T10 and 9260 steels. This fusion produces a striking hada (grain) pattern that flows seamlessly into the visible hamon line, enhancing both its beauty and authenticity. The 11 ¼” tsuka is wrapped in rich brown silk over genuine black-dyed same (ray skin) for a secure, traditional grip. Completing the look, the saya is finished in deep gold with a black-lacquered rattan wrap near the mouth, while the koiguchi, kurikata, and kojiri are crafted from real buffalo horn for durability and elegance.
