The tanto was the shortest blade in the Samurai's arsenal during Feudal Japan. They would generally use this blade similar to a knife or dagger to penetrate armor in close range combat. This economical hand forged tanto features a unique double fuller running down the spine of the 6mm thick 9.5" carbon steel blade. The handle is black leather wrapped over genuine ray skin and the scabbard is black lacquer. This hand forged tanto also includes a cloth storage bag.

"Very nice blade that came lubricated. There is an ornamental piece woven into the grip that is South Paw unfriendly. I am contemplating whether I want to take it apart to try and remedy. I am used to the manufacturing world behaving as though left handers either don't exist or can just adapt. It is still a very nice Tanto. " - Rene (4/5)
