It measures 29 1/4 inches with a 1 1/2 inch kissaki and approximately 3/4 inch of sori. The blade geometry is intended for cutting soft and semi-hard targets while helping resist chipping. The 12 1/4 inch handle is secured with two mekugi and finished with tan tsuka-ito contrasted against blackened fittings. A textured brown lacquered saya completes the presentation with buffalo horn reinforcing the koiguchi and kurikata, accompanied by a black sageo.
