The name ballock dagger is originated from the unique phallic shape of the hilt. The dagger was popular throughout Europe between the 13th and 18th centuries, in particular the Tudor period. This beautiful reproduction has a strong triangular blade, capable of punching through the toughest mail armor. The brass guard and cross inlaid pommel have been brushed and antiqued, giving this piece a truly ominous appearance, while the sleek handle allows for a firm grip. A leather-covered scabbard with matching brushed, antique brass tip is included.
