Police Model Knife

First introduced in 1984, the stainless steel Police Model™ has been in continuous production for almost 40 years. One of Spyderco’s most revered and iconic designs, it has evolved to incorporate subtle changes over time, but its basic form and classic pinned and satin-finished construction have remained unchanged—until now. Spyderco is proud to announce that, effective immediately, the stainless steel Police Model will feature screw-togetherconstruction. With this method, the handle and blade pivot are assembled using stainless steel hardware consisting of D-shaped female bodies and Torx^® screws. This style of construction allows the precise alignment and tensioning of all the knife’s components to ensure optimal mechanical function and smoothness of operation. In the unlikelyevent the knife needs to be serviced, it also allows it to be disassembled and reassembled easily. We’re very excited to introduce the latest evolution of this truly iconic design. Available with a PlainEdge™, SpyderEdge™, or CombinationEdge™, the Police Model’s blade also includes our Trademark Round Hole™ for swift, reliable, one-handed opening. A four-position hourglass clip completes the package, supporting tip-up or tip-down carry on both sides of the body and making the carry, deployment, and operation of this remarkable knife completely ambidextrous.
