Non nobis is a short Latin hymn used as a prayer of thanksgiving and expression of humility. "Non Nobis, Non Nobis, Domine Sed nomini tuo da gloriam" and means "Not to us, Not to us, O Lord, but to your name give glory". It was often associated with the Knights Templar during the Crusades. According to legend Henry V ordered it to be recited along with the Te Deum in thanksgiving for the English victory at the Battle of Agincourt in 1415. This sword commemorates the Templar hymn. The two toned blade is 34" with a single fuller. The cast metal fittings are finished in a golden tone and handle wrapped with a golden chain. This sword comes complete with wall plaque.
