Imperial Sword Co. London

This effective knife is a copy of an original English produced Bowie made for the U. S. trade and used during the Spanish American War of 1898. Though still in fashion to carry a Bowie, this knife has a thin hilt for more discreet carry. Features hand forged tempered high carbon steel blade. Just like the original, the left side of the Bowie knife's blade is engraved with "Imperial Sword Co. London." This knife has dark hardwood polished scales pinned to a full profile tang. It has all steel parts married to the blade. Scabbard included.

"Good steel, it took an almost razor edge. The tang isn't an actual full tang as it's a hidden tang inside a steel frame handle that simulates a hidden tang, but this was done historically with the original British made 19th century Bowie knives: It's not a problem if the handle's stub tang is strong enough and the whole handle assembly is solid. In reviews I've read on other sites people didn't report any issues with the handle breaking. I didn't severely test the knife but I did give the blade 3 or 4 solid blows on a tree stump on the back, on the edge and on each side using the normal force I would use if chopping into something solid and I had no damage. Final note the false edge isn't sharpened but one could ask RELIKS if they can sharpen the false edge if one doesn't have the tools or skill to do it themselves."
