From early civilizations to well past the Renaissance, warriors figured out that a double wrap belt was a more comfortable way to carry a sword. But it was in Medieval times that the practice really flourished. When the extra length of belt wraps around a body the second time, both hips then support the weight of the sword. Besides the balanced suspension, this belt presents a swashbuckling appearance. Includes a frog hanger that will fit all scabbards. Made of beautiful top grade leather. Choose brown with brass or black with nickel silver studs and buckle. (sword not included) Sizes are approximate. Note: When sizing your belt please make sure you add 4+ inches to your pant size to ensure there will be enough overlap, so it can be buckled.
