Higonokami Knife - Photo Gallery

Citadel's take on the Higonokami Knife is a bit different than what you'll find anywhere else.

As DNH7 is a high-carbon steel the knife should be cleaned and oiled from time to time; a nylon zipper storage pouch with embroidered Citadel logo is included.

The horn handle keeps this knife nice and light for everyday carry. Not to mention horn is a good bit warmer than brass in the winter. A copper lanyard tube completes the otherwise simple handle.

The differentially hardened high carbon (DNH7) blade and unique tang extension remains, but the typical folded brass handle is replaced by a nice piece of buffalo horn with a carved recess for the blade. The blade can be opened one-handed with a little practice and is held open by the forged tang extension.
