"Heavier and more of a chopping/slashing knife than the Bowie companion knife, The whole handle assembly is impressive in fit and finish and is quality work. The slight recurve gives it a semi Kukri like chopping ability that could make it a functional survival/camp knife and somewhat general purpose, but it's still mostly a fighting knife that could be used for other tasks I think, not that it would be a first choice as a bushcraft knife. The knife has a forward balance and the sub-guard plus the texturing of the handle gives it a secure grip. A movie knife with theoretical practical uses, although as a collectable it probably wont be used in the woods by most buyers, but one could do a lot worse in a pinch. The false edge on this one is also not sharpened, as with the Last Blood Bowie, but the edge on it is thicker and sharpening it would change it's appearance more than sharpening the Bowie's thinner out of the box false edge. Note: On both knives the false edges, although not sharpened, have a small bevel catching the light giving the impression when seen from the side that they are sharpened with a contrasting small bright bevel. Bottom line a very hand filling, aesthetically pleasing, built like a tank knife."
