Sword of the Viking King

The Vikings well known for their fearsome long ships exploded out of the north to raid, pillage and settle most of the known world. The vikings also warred amongst themselves and it was not unusual for the kings of these strong warriors to lead combat engagements themselves. This sword with its intricate designed scabbard are a tribute them and are truly fit for a brave Nordic king. Every steel part is handmade and incredibly detailed with viking inspired art plated in real silver, together with a leather embossed scabbard. The scabbard is made of wood covered in rich harness grade leather and covered in faux reindeer fur.

Ornate and Viking Strong

The wide #fullered Viking blade is light and fast. This type of blade design was learned from legendary swordsmiths like Ulfbehrt. Hand forged from 1095 high carbon steel with a perfect temper make this blade very strong and resilient. This sword is very ornate and would look great in the man cave, home office or den but was built to function and can hold a very sharp edge with our optional sharpening service. The metal parts are beautiful and adorn the scabbard and buckles on the attached baldric. This exceptional viking sword can be seen in the DK book “Warrior”.
