Champion Stage Combat Sword

We've been asked for years for a good set of historically researched swords to perform with on stage. We wanted both authenticity and durability; the kind of sword you can bang edge to edge to complete your performance with confidence and look good doing it. How it's Made

The Champion Sword is a good hand and a half sword which could also be used as a single hander. It is forged with a thick full tang and peened over construction using solid steel guard and steel pommel, The wooded handle is wrapped in a leather for a secure grip. The blade is forged from high carbon steel with extra thick edges and rolled tips, needed for safety and durability during live steel performances. The expertly tempered blade adds flexibility to disperse the shock and stresses experienced during striking and blocking. A leather scabbard with metal accents is included to complete this stage sword.

Single and Hand and a Half Platform

These swords look good as they are but an experienced prop-master can transform each into one of a kind swords that aesthetically fit your character. Simple changes like re-wrapping the grip, bluing the steel and scabbard decoration can make this sword a part of your characters story while retaining its durability for the final climactic choreographed fight scene. The Champion can be used as a one-handed or hand-and-a-half sword which covers many cultures and many centuries.
