The sgian dubh is a Scottish knife that is worn tucked into your sock in highland wear. The term "sgian dubh" is Gaelic for "black knife" and is pronounced "skin doo". Although worn largely by the Scots, it's also worn by the Irish with their kilt outfits. The Thistle Sgian Dubh is adorned with a faux amber stone and bronze toned metal fittings. The handle features a crest with a thistle. The blade is constructed of stainless steel.
