Information Collection and Use

The information on this site is used only by Reliks Inc. We value our customers too much to damage our relationships with them. Information is gathered at several points on our web site from our customers but customers do not have to worry about information being sold, shared or rented to others. Users of www.reliks.com will not get onto any internet mailing lists because they shopped online at Reliks.

Ordering

We require some basic information to process your order. Billing and shipping information is requested along with payment information. Credit card numbers and expiration dates are required for billing purposes, but are not saved on our Web site. Contact information, such as e-mail address and phone number, is used only to confirm your order or for contact purposes should we have trouble processing an order. We neither solicit by telephone nor release this information to other companies.

Cookies

A cookie is a small data file stored on your computer's hard drive that contains information relating to your visit to our site such as shopping cart contents. When you leave and then return to our site, this information is recalled to improve the shopping experience.

E-mail

Once you have placed an order, we will send you an e-mail confirming receipt of your order. At no time will Reliks Inc. use e-mail to solicit our customers unless they have willfully signed up to our Newsletter.

Security

At Reliks Inc., we have taken every precaution to protect our users' information. When users submit sensitive information through our web site, their information is protected both online and off line. When our order form asks you to enter sensitive information, such as credit card number, that information is encrypted and is protected with Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). This Web protocol uses a private key to encrypt data that is transferred over a secure connection between our server and your computer. While on a secure page, such as our checkout basket, the lock icon on the bottom of Web browsers such as Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer becomes locked, as opposed to unlocked (or open) when you are just "surfing". While we use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also do everything in our power to protect customer-information off line. All of our customers' information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted to employees who need the information for their specific duties. Finally, the servers on which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment, here at Reliks Inc. - we host our own Web site.
