The Castile Sword is a close representation of a Christian Fletcher work of art built on a Gus Trim designed blade and produced by Valiant Armoury. Gus Trim is known throughout the Custom sword world as having some of the greatest skill and knowledge in sword metallurgy and craftsmanship. Christian Fletcher is a Master Cutler. He builds his works on blades from a few sources but uses Gus Trim blades exclusively for the original designs he creates. This classic Oakeshott Type X boasts a hand forged 1060 high carbon spring steel blade with a Type J pommel. The blade length is 31 13/16" with an overall of 38 5/8". Center of gravity is approx. 5" from the Type 5 guard. The Castile Base Edition sword comes complete with leather scabbard and black leather belt. Sword, Scabbard & Belt Weight 4 lbs 5 oz.
