Our Japanese Sakura arrowhead (yanone) is faithfully reproduced from originals in museum collections. Some yanone were strictly utilitarian while others, like most of these examples, were beautifully pierced and decorated and used primarily for presentations and temple offerings. Most arrowheads fall into one of several broad groupings. The Sakura follows the Flesh Terror (Barbed) profile. This arrowhead, either singly or in a group is an outstanding collectible and conversation piece. 12 1/2" overall.
