'Customers that own this product, rate it 4 / 5' - read more..
In honour of Alexandre Dumas and the timeless characters from his beloved novel, this piece has an etched french style cross, often associated with the Musketeers, on its hilt. Hand Forged from well tempered carbon steel. The musket, though the prime weapon of the French Musketeer, was a cumbersome firearm, both to load and fire, so a good rapier was a necessary second weapon. The basket of this rapier's hilt is ambidextrous and a very effective mix of both the cup-hilt and swept-hilt style. The grip is wood wrapped with twisted wire and the parts of the hilt are plated with gleaming nickel silver. Made by Windlass Steelcrafts. Includes leather scabbard. Blade Length: 37 1/2" Overall Length: 46" Blade Material: High Carbon Steel Weight: 2 lb 8 oz
